Tilt Zero – Privacy Policy
Last updated: 12.01.2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Tilt Zero ("we", "us", "our")
collects, uses, and protects information in connection with the Tilt Zero application and
related services ("Tilt Zero" or the "Service").
We are committed to collecting as little information as reasonably possible. In Tilt Zero,
our data collection is intentionally limited and focused on providing the core functionality
of the app.
By using Tilt Zero, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not
agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 SteamID
When you connect Tilt Zero to your Steam account, we store your SteamID
(your Steam account identifier). We do not store your Steam password or other
login credentials.
Your SteamID is used to:
- Associate your Tilt Zero usage with your Steam account;
- Fetch your public game and achievement data from Steam (when needed to provide the Service);
- Maintain your in-app Ticket balance and related usage.
1.2 User Interactions and Conversations
When you use the AI assistant or other interactive features in Tilt Zero, we collect and store:
- The text you type into the app (your questions, prompts, and other input);
- The AI-generated responses shown to you in the app;
- Basic information about the context of the conversation (for example, which game you are asking about).
We refer to this combined data as your "conversations" or "interaction data".
1.3 Technical and Usage Data (Minimal)
In operating the Service, some limited technical information may be collected automatically,
such as:
- Basic device information (device type, operating system version);
- App version and basic usage events (for example, when a request is sent to the assistant);
- Diagnostic information in case of errors or failures.
We aim to keep this information minimal and use it only to operate, secure, and improve the Service.
2. What We Do Not Collect
As of the date of this Privacy Policy, we do not intentionally collect or store:
- Your real name, email address, or postal address (unless you contact us directly by email);
- Your Steam password or Steam login credentials;
- Payment card numbers or billing details (payments are processed by the app store);
- Precise location data.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
-
To provide the core functionality of Tilt Zero:
using your SteamID to fetch and display your game and achievement data, and using your
conversations to generate relevant responses from the AI assistant.
-
To manage Tickets and usage:
associating Ticket balances and consumption with your SteamID and interactions in the app.
-
To maintain and improve the Service:
using limited technical and usage data to debug issues, improve performance, and refine features.
-
To protect the Service:
detecting abuse, attempts to misuse the app, or security problems.
4. Legal Basis (Where Applicable)
Where required by law (for example, in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom),
we process your information based on one or more of the following legal bases:
- Performance of a contract: to provide you with the Tilt Zero Service you request;
- Legitimate interests: to operate, protect, and improve the app in a way that is balanced against your rights;
- Consent: in situations where applicable law requires your consent and you choose to provide it.
5. How Long We Keep Your Data
We keep your information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in
this policy, including:
- Your SteamID, for as long as you actively use Tilt Zero or until you request deletion (where applicable);
- Your conversations and interaction data, for as long as needed to provide the Service, maintain context, and improve stability;
- Technical and diagnostic logs, for a limited time, to detect problems and maintain security.
We may keep certain minimal data for longer periods if required by law or for legitimate
business purposes (for example, fraud prevention or security).
6. Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal data.
We may share limited information in the following situations:
-
Service providers:
We may use third-party providers to host servers or process AI requests. They are allowed to
use your data only to provide services to us and must protect it appropriately.
-
Legal requirements and safety:
We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect our rights, users,
or the public.
-
Business changes:
If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be
transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Privacy Policy or an updated equivalent.
7. International Transfers
Depending on where you are located and where our infrastructure or service providers are located,
your information may be processed in countries other than your own. We will take reasonable steps
to ensure that any such transfers comply with applicable data protection laws and that your
information remains protected.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we collect
against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. However, no system can be completely secure, and
we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You are responsible for keeping your device secure and for controlling access to the Tilt Zero app.
9. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have some or all of the following rights under applicable
data protection laws:
- The right to access the personal data we hold about you;
- The right to request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data;
- The right to request deletion of your data in certain circumstances;
- The right to object to or restrict certain types of processing;
- The right to data portability (in some jurisdictions);
- The right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
To exercise these rights (where applicable), please contact us using the details in the
"Contact Us" section below. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
10. Children’s Privacy
Tilt Zero is not intended for children under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect
personal data from children under 16. If you believe that a child has provided us with personal
data, please contact us so that we can delete that information where appropriate.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated"
date at the top of this page. If we make material changes, we may also provide additional notice
within Tilt Zero or by other reasonable means.
Your continued use of the Service after any changes take effect will constitute your acceptance
of the updated Privacy Policy.
